The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) School of Pharmacy will be hosting the 7th Annual Advanced Physical Assessment Workshop at the MCW Milwaukee Campus. Further your knowledge and acquire the skills to fulfill the expanding role of the pharmacist!

The healthcare landscape is changing. This evolution is offering new opportunities for pharmacists to engage patients to improve health outcomes and quality of care.

Join us for a day-long workshop that will educate pharmacists and pharmacy residents working in the community or ambulatory setting to implement physical assessments within their daily practice.

Physical assessment topics delivered in this workshop include: obtaining vital signs and conducting respiratory, cardiovascular, neurologic, and diabetic foot exams.

Prior to the day-long workshop, pre-work will be assigned to provide foundational physical assessment knowledge. The live workshop is set up as a series of sessions that will focus on the application and implementation of foundational material and assessment techniques.

Regular Registration

Deadline: Friday, July 14th

  • Non-MCW Precepting Pharmacist: $199



This application-based activity is accredited for 8 contact hours. In order to earn credit for this activity, participants must complete the pre-work, attend the live course, successfully pass the hands-on assessment during the workshop and complete required evaluations
