Preceptor Team Building: Diabetes Escape Room

The MCW School of Pharmacy invites you to participate in a unique team-building activity designed to reinforce your diabetes knowledge!

What: Diabetes Escape Room

When: Thursday, July 27, 2023

Time: 2 hours between 8:00am and 12:00pm (exact start time TBD)

Description: The Diabetes Escape Room is a fun way for pharmacists to review diabetes-related topics as they work in teams of four or five through a series of puzzles and scenarios to “rescue” a patient and escape the room. Teams will be presented with a scenario and are given 70 minutes to complete the puzzles in the room. Whether teams escape or not, they are invited to complete a short debrief to review teamwork strategies that worked well (or not so well) as well as their general experience completing the activity. The total time commitment is ~2 hours.

No continuing education or credit is associated with this activity; it is for fun and team-building.
